Hello and Welcome!

My Name is Jenny, I own and Run Bark Boutique.

I Completed my City and Guilds level 2 certification in 2013 and my level 3 certification in 2015.

Whilst at college for this I started a job at my first Vets and absolutely loved it. So that's where I stayed for the next 5 years. I learnt a great deal, met the best people and animals but was always drawn back to grooming.

So in the last year I worked with management and ended up starting a grooming salon within the practice.

I then moved to another veterinary practice, Island Vetcare. A great practice and great people but I quickly missed grooming a lot! So with a lot of hard work and planning... Bark Boutique was Born. 

I worked part time doing both for the first 6 months and am now full time grooming as of May 2021

Bark Boutique has been up and running since November 2020 and my aim is to provide a great experience for you and your dog.​

​

For some dogs grooming is a stressful experience, I want to create a comfortable, kind and relaxed place for them right on your doorstep.

​

With an ever changing industry I am always completing ongoing education with Seminars, courses and entering Grooming Competitions.

​

Since beginning Bark Boutique I have also completed 3 more qualifications with IPG (International professional Groomers) which are:

Certified Professional Groomer

Advanced Professional Groomer

International Certified Master Groomer

As well as coming 1st place in a competition in an all scissor class using Peppa the Cockerpoo. 

​

My personal dogs are Quinn (Chihuahua), Bob (Toy poodle) and Deedee (Toy Poodle). I compete with the poodles at dog shows and Bob has even placed 3rd in his class at Crufts.
